11 Kings of Jungle [lions] were Poisoned in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda is well known for it's tree climbing lions, 600 bird species and 100 mammals that include leopards, zebras, buffaloes, elephants and hyena,  but to our surprise on 10th of April 2018, 11 lions were found dead in the park.

The 11 lions are suspected to be poisoned by the local people who claim that the lions where eating their livestock and there was no response from Uganda wildlife authority when they try to complain to them.

The poisoned 11 lions were inclusive of eight cubs and three adult lionesses. This is not the first poisoning of lions in Uganda, around May 20th 2010 five lions were found dead and it was suspected that the local people were behind the poisoning of those lions.

Still around May 2006 and July 2007, also 15 lions where killed in Queen Elizabeth National Park by herdsmen trying to defend their cattle from the lions.

THE KILLING OF THIS LIONS IS VERY BIG LOSS TO UGANDAN TOURISM SECTORS BECAUSE QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK IS WELL KNOWN FOR IT'S TREE CLIMBING LIONS IN EAST AFRICA.
