Jinja district is located in Eastern Uganda on the shores
of Lake Victoria. Jinja has got plenty of tourist attraction that include
Source of the Nile, Owen falls dam and Bujagali among others. You should not miss Itanda falls which is well known for
its white-water rapids and the falls are located in North of River Nile. You
will visit Lake Victoria in East of Jinja district and Samuka Island which is
well known as home of different bird species.
Day 1:
Company guide/diver shall meet you and greet each other. He
will then transfer you to jinja home of wonders but you will have stopover at
Ssezibwa falls to visit the falls which are well known to be produced by woman, learn the
history of the falls and then later proceed to the source of the Nile. You will
have lunch from the source of the Nile and later in the afternoon you will set
off for boat cruise as the sun set, then proceed to the lodge where you will
catch up with night and dinner at Source of the Nile Hotel.
Day 2:
Set off for white water rafting after your morning
breakfast. You will head to the briefing point where you will be brief on your
safety and trained on how to deal with water. They will give you a chance to practice
and then start off with rafting for close to 26kms on white waters. You will
have delicious lunch with view of white waters. After lunch you will go for
evening city tour in jinja town. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3:
Have breakfast in the morning, the guide/driver will then drive
you to the venue for bungee jumping in the waters of River Nile. After bungeejumping, relax bit at water side and then have lunch. Depart for Kampala.
