Types of Tourists in Uganda

TYPES OF TOURISTS IN UGANDA INCLUDE,
Leisure Tourist
Leisure Travel is travel in which the primary motivation is to take vacation from everyday life. The tourists take an interest of going to cool places for relaxation and refreshment from tiresome environment/days. They prefer staying in nice hotels or resorts, in the beaches, boat cruising, trekking, horse riding, mountain hiking, and rafting, game viewing, bird watching, going on guided tours and experiencing local tourist attraction. Most of the activities are from national park like Murchison falls national park, Queen Elizabeth national park, Kibale forest national park, Bwindi impenetrableforest national park, Rwenzori mountain national park, Lake Mburo national park and many others.

Business Tourists
Business tourists are individual that travel to carryout business transaction but later opt to visit some places like national parks among others. These business tourists get engage in tourism activities as part of their leisure time off work time.
 Cultural Tourists
Cultural tourists are the individual who are interested in cultrure tourism to learn about different cultural behavior, art, dance, norms, heritage site and belife. Uganda is country with very many different cultures, we have the Buganda culture, Ateso culture, karamojong culture, Busoga culture, Bannyankole, Batooro culture and many others.
Medical Tourists
Medical tourists are people who live one country and travel to another country to receive medical, dental and surgical care and at the same time receiving great care from the country there are offering serivces. At that process they can tour some new places in the country there are receiving medical care.
Educational Tourists
Educational tourist travel to different countries for study purpose in specific area so as to add more qualification and to get more experience in the field of study. The students get interested in visiting some places of interest in the country they are taking their studies from, like visting national park, cultural places among others.
