uganda gorilla tour experience


The charm derived while on Ugandagorilla tour.
Uganda is preferably a gorilla destination spot for many travelers who wish to do Uganda gorilla trekking tours and get an insight on how these gentle giants go about their daily wildlife. The day starts  early in the morning by driving to Bwindi impenetrable forest nationalpark  situated in south western Uganda, about 461km taking you approximately 7hrs 30 minutes. The journey is long but rather an exciting one as it consist of a view of several landscapes characterized by beautiful sceneries, green vegetation , a view several homesteads and different towns In Uganda. Have a few stops overs for coffee and meals, with the first one being around masaka district at the equator statue, there you are free to take as many photo as possible have coffee.

Proceed south westwards  until your reach Mbarara town, have lunch stretch and relax as preparation for yet another scenic drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park home to half of the world’s gorilla population, drive through the kigezi region viewing the   spectacular hills and terraces as mode of crop farming carried out by the Kigezi residents. Reach Bwindi area and check in at you hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.  Early in the morning wake the to the chapping sounds of the birds from the forests, have breakfast preferably a cup of coffee and proceed to park headquarters, be briefed about gorilla trekking exercise and later proceed to the forest in search for the  gorillas a  situation can only be described as a worth experience.  You will not see the gorilla immediately but as you move in the jungles you will unexpectedly bump on them, spend an hour with them and take as many photos as possible to commemorate the experience. Later descend for lunch as you prepare for another activity, like guided nature and community walks in the Bwindi area.
