3 Days Wildlife Safari to Murchison falls National Park

This 3 days wildlife safari takes you to the largest and first national park in Uganda Murchison falls National Park. Murchison falls National Park is found in northwest Uganda on the shore of Lake Albert. Murchison falls National Park was established in 1952 and covers an area of about 3,893 square kilometers.
Murchison falls National Park has plenty of wildlife. The park is home to over 76 mammal species and 451 bird species. Some of the mammals include lions, giraffes, herd of elephants, warthogs, buffaloes,school of hippos, Nile crocodiles, water buck, leopards, zebras, monkeys, Uganda kobs and Jackson's hartbeest.
Breakdown of the safari
 Day 1: transfer to Murchison falls and visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Day 2: game drive in the park and boat ride on River Nile
Day 3: morning game drive and departure
Day 1: transfer to Murchison falls 
Jewel safaris guide/driver will collect you from the hotel or place of resident for transfer to Murchison falls national park. You will make first stop over at Luwero to purchase some fruits and to have some break. Proceed to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking and bird watching. You will have lunch from Masindi town at Masindi hotel. Continue with the safari to Murchison Falls, hike the top of the falls then head to the lodge where you will have dinner and overnight.

day 2: game drive at the park and boat ride at River Nile
Start a day with cup of coffee, the driver will pick you for game drive after breakfast. The game drives are best done in the northern bank of Murchison fall national park because that is where you find a large concentration of wildlife in the Savannah plains. Game drive will reward you with a view of school of hippos, herd of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, leopards, Uganda kobs, zebras and crocodiles to mention the few. Return to the lodge for lunch and after lunch proceed for 2 hours boat ride at River Nile where you will spot a lot of animals drinking water at the River bank, spot a lot of bird species, crocodiles, hippos and local people fishing. Head to the top of the falls for hiking and see how water forces itself out of the tiny rocks. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Red chili safari lodge, Paraa safari lodge and Pumba safari lodge.

Day 3: game drive and departure to Kampala
Have breakfast, then have good bye game drive as your leaving the lodge for Kampala. En-route lunch in Masindi town and then proceed to Kampala. The driver will drop you either at Entebbe international airport or place of your choice. End of the 3 days safari to Murchison falls National Park.
